The Pzkpfw IV, depicted here in a late model configuration with 75mm gun and side skirts. The addition of a 75mm long gun and spaced armor added some extra punch and protecction to the undergunned and underarmored early versions. Turret sides and rear, glacis, suspension and the hull's flank where protected with spaced armor. Spaced armor added some protechtions against normal rounds, but it was specially designed to defeat hollow or shaped charges fired from Bazookas and various other antitank weapons.
